You can begin with an honest question, a quiet prayer, or a decision to trust Jesus today. You do not need to have every answer before you take the first step.

What does it mean to follow Jesus?

God created us for a relationship with Him. Sin separates us from Him, and we cannot make ourselves right by trying harder. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for our sins and rose again. He offers forgiveness and new life as a gift of grace to those who repent and trust Him. Romans 3:23; 5:8; 10:9–10; Ephesians 2:8–9

Repentance means turning toward God. Faith means placing your trust in Jesus and what He has done. Following Him is a lifelong walk of learning, prayer, obedience, and growing with other believers.

Talk to God in your own words.

There are no magic words. If this expresses what you believe, you can use it to begin:

“Jesus, I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I need Your forgiveness. I turn to You and put my trust in You. Lead me into a new life and teach me to follow You. Amen.”

What matters is trusting Christ, not simply repeating a prayer. If you have questions, you are welcome to keep exploring.
